Cover Cap for Hinge Hole – IKEA PAX Wardrobe

When customizing an IKEA PAX wardrobe, it’s common to install drawers or shelves at the same height as the pre-drilled hinge holes. In such cases, the hinge can no longer be mounted – which leaves an open hole where the raw wood underneath becomes visible. This can look unfinished and distracting, especially on darker finishes.

To fix this, I designed a small and clean cover cap that fits perfectly into the unused hinge hole. It’s a press-fit part that installs easily without tools and blends in nicely with the door surface, improving the overall look of your PAX setup.
