Follow Focus Gear for Lens - All Sizes

Print your own Follow Focus Gears with a perfect fit on your individual lens!

Step 1: Measure your Lens:

You can either use a caliper to measure the diameter of the focus ring:

Or you use a paper strip or a tape measure to measure the circumference of the focus ring:

Step 2: Choose the right Size

Choose the closest size to your measurement. The Objects are labeled by diameter and circumstance:

If the size doesn't match exactly, you can slightly scale the gear:

Adjust the absolute X and Y values to fine-tune the fit und double-check with the measuring tool:

Step 3: Print!

Additional Tipps:

I highly recommend printing the gears in TPU for a bit of flexibility. I haven't tried other materials, so your experience may vary.

Don’t worry if the first print isn’t perfect — just make small adjustments as described above.
