Description

UPDATE: After almost a year, user @Nkshafer2 made me realise that the model I created was for a camera with a silicon skin.
Added a new plate to the project with both versions. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the report.
This new version also solves some previous issues with the Joystick and adds a notch for the landyard.

I love my Osmo Pocket 3, and I'm also loving the CyberBrick Time-Lapse kit!
I wanted to be able to shot timelapses with this handy and powerful camera, but it is not able to be connected to the Cyberbrick time-lapse kit.

Reusing the oficial Bambulab's model for camera shutter (you can get the 3d models from his oficial →project←), I was able to trigger the camera and get high quality timelapse footage.

As key points:

  • The attachment is able to be placed on the tripod base, so you can easyly position the camera on any desired angle.

  • Usb port is free to connect so you don't run out of battery during the print.

  • Joystick on the camera is free to use, allowing you to properly center the print thanks to its gimbal.

  • Once attached the release button is free to release the camera from the base.

For those not already getting the one of the full kits of Cyberbricks I will add ot the BOM the hardware required to handle this project apart from the Tim-lapse itself and the cable to connect to the printer, wich is the servo and the spring.

Hope you all enjoy!
