Description

H2D Laser Attachment Clip

This custom clip is designed for the H2D print head with a laser attachment. Its main purpose is to prevent the air hose from getting pinched between the print head and the side of the printer, which can lead to incorrect homing. While this doesn’t affect the actual print—thanks to eddy current calibration—it can cause the nozzle to purge filament onto the edge of the filament guard, creating blobs that may eventually clog the extruder.

The clip also doubles as a neat holder for the air hose when the laser attachment is not in use, helping to keep your setup clean and reduce the risk of homing issues.
To improve stability, the clip features a small tab on the back that prevents it from sliding back and forth along the cable rail during operation.

There are three variants available to suit different needs:

  • Closed loop – provides maximum security, but requires pushing the hose through the loop
  • Open – tight fit – allows the hose to be clipped in firmly
  • Open – loose fit – easier to insert/remove, with a more relaxed hold

    🖨 Print settings:
  • Material: ABS
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Supports: Yes (recommended for best results)
