Ultimate Nintendo Switch 1 Rugged Box with Interchangeable Inserts

Following the creation of a Rugged Box for the Switch 2, I received numerous requests for a case compatible with the original Switch (non-OLED).

This case comfortably accommodates the console, charger, cables, and games.

The result, delivered promptly:

The inserts flanking the controllers are interchangeable, affording users the flexibility to utilize their preferred additional inserts.

The box lid is available in two versions: one featuring the logo and one without.

The lid provides ample space for a thin microfiber cloth, offering enhanced screen protection. However, I still recommend applying a screen protector.

All components print seamlessly, requiring no supports.

PLA was my material of choice, except for the clasps, which are PETG for superior flexibility. Nevertheless, PETG should prove equally suitable for all components.

The clasps exhibit exceptional durability and resistance to breakage. Should breakage occur, I recommend a high-tensile TPU.

Assembly requires six M3x30 screws for the clasps and hinges.
