Thread Adapter / Reducer for Inch Thread >> ISO Pipe Thread Female - Female Adapter

This set contains various thread adapters (reducers) specifically designed for use with pool pumps, hose connections, and plumbing installations. The adapters convert common inch sizes (e.g., from 2 inches to 1 ½ inches), as frequently found in sand filter systems, Intex pools, or garden pumps.

G2 ½ inch to 2 inch

G2 inch to G 1 ½ inch

G1 inch to G3/4 inch

G3/4 inch to G1/2 inch

I strongly recommend PETG, ASA, or ABS. 

PLA is not suitable for permanent water contact and outdoor use (UV radiation/heat).

Assembly instructions: 

Sealing: Since printed threads are never 100% watertight, Teflon tape (PTFE tape) or a suitable sealing cord must be used. 

Do not overtighten the thread forcefully. Due to the layer-by-layer construction (FDM), tensile strength is limited.

Overtightening can lead to the thread stripping. Using Teflon tape reduces friction during screwing in and ensures tightness without needing to be extremely tight.

Please note that 3D-printed threaded fittings have different mechanical properties than industrial injection-molded parts. This adapter is designed for low-pressure applications (e.g., garden pumps, pool filter systems, unpressurized outlets). It is not suitable for household water pipes with permanently high line pressure (> 4 bar) or safety-critical applications.  

Seal the thread generously with Teflon tape or sealing thread. This reduces friction during screwing in and ensures tightness without needing to be extremely tight.
