Design Concept

In the Jupiter Orbital Battle of 2179, the GSA cruiser "Fortress" deployed an electromagnetic shield. Twelve "Chixiao" of the Xuan Tu Squadron abandoned long-range firepower and launched a suicide dive into the cracks in the shield. The aircraft bodies slid along the enemy ship's armor, wing blades slicing through gun turret bases, dorsal fins tearing into engine pipelines. Three survived in the end; the enemy ship transformed into a metal lotus blooming in space. A maxim spread through the Space Force: "When crimson meteors streak across the sky, death dances in the welding sparks."
