Description
This is a supporting stake for drip irrigation tubes. The side is designed for “Rainbird 1/4 in. x 50 ft. Drip Emitter Tubing” of which the emitter has a diameter of 9mm. Comparing to the off-shelf stalks, this design offers several benefits:
1. The design elevates the tube above the soil at a consistent distance so dirt won't plug those little dripping holes
2. Matching diameter with the emitter allows consistent spacing
3. Strong without needing of support for 3d printing
These features make it a great accessory of your drip irrigation system to keep your garden/plant watered.
Some measurements:
- This stake inserts into soil about 120mm deep
- tubing is elevated by about 15mm above the soil surface
- center hole with 9mm diameter matching the emitter diameter
