MoondropPill (Water Moon Rain Pill/Music Capsule) Base/Locker/Protective Case

For MoondropPill (Moondrop Pill Music Capsule/Pill) ummm... a base? A lock? A protective cover? No matter, in short, this thing is stable, lightweight, and compact enough to carry in your pocket without issues!

Backstory: Because the pill body itself is too round, the friction on the table is too small; while it won't roll around randomly, it also can't stand steadily. Moreover, this thing often opens its lid when carried in a pants pocket, making me constantly anxious

So I grabbed a tape measure and started modeling directly

Among a pile of whimsical failures, I think this one is relatively the best

This model was refactored on 20251013 into a customizable parametric model. In addition, there are two versions: one with an opening directly on top and one with an opening 23° off-center from the top, both with a wall thickness of 1mm. Please download and print from the original model file. Of course, you can have both, as one model only uses a little over 10g of filament（）

It also has a lanyard hole, which should be suitable for most lanyards

Self-tested with an A1 printer, printed with cheap PETG, no issues

The drawback is that the rotation of the pill's transparent outer casing is not very smooth. Although the model was created specifically to lock the casing, the tactile feel is certainly not good（）

Both versions of the STL files have been uploaded to the original model file

*Note, the version of this model with the locking mechanism secures the earphone compartment body by fixing the rotating handle next to the capsule. Therefore, when using this model, it is strictly forbidden to manually rotate the earphone compartment body, otherwise the rotating handle and the earphone compartment will be damaged and break apart (from a short-tempered person tormented by an impulsive colleague)
