Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you like the design, do me a solid and boost me!  It costs you nothing and it makes us both feel good!  That and I really appreciate it.

Alphabet Serving Trays that can be used for any number of events you want to host from Anniversaries all the way Zero Discrimination Day (yes, that's an actual day every year).  Personalize your parties or even just print a message for someone special "just because".  Add your favourite snacks to the bowels or coloured stones and use as decorations.

When the Mrs. told me she wanted to buy serving trays in the shape of letters for a baby shower she was hosting, I thought to myself, “I can make those! It'll be easy!”.  Like always, it was a matter of doing it the hard way before realizing there's a much easier way of creating “simple” designs for 3D printing.  After spending a ridiculous amount of time in TinkerCAD and Fusion trying to hollow out the letters, I realized it would be MUCH easier to create an OpenSCAD script to do the heavy lifting.  I've included the OpenSCAD file for easy customization in MakerLab's Parametric Model Maker.  For this print profile, each letter is sized to fit on it's own plate.  I don't recommend resizing the letter in the slicer as it'll change the thickness of the walls and bottom.  Instead, use the Customize button to change the size and leave the walls (2mm) and bottom (3mm) as is.
