Description
This 3D-printable adapter allows you to join a 32 mm-inner-diameter pool hose (commonly used on above-ground pools) to any standard 32 mm threaded fitting (e.g., pump inlet/outlet, filter housing, heat pump). It is recommended to be printed in durable, UV-resistant ASA filament for long-term outdoor use. This kind of connector is not commercially available, making it a unique, on-demand solution.
- Threaded End: Male thread sized for 32 mm (nominal 1¼″ BSP/GHT) fittings.
- O-Ring Groove: Integrated groove supports a 30 × 2 mm Buna-N or EPDM O-ring to ensure a water-tight seal.
Recommended Materials:
- Filament: ASA
- Superior UV-resistance and excellent mechanical strength for outdoor pool applications.
- O-Ring: 30 × 2 mm EPDM
- Sealing Tape: PTFE (Teflon) tape for the threaded end.
