Lens caps for Sony mount

Sony E-mount Lens Cap

I modeled a replica as close to the original as possible, as some of my projects (see below) required a very realistic rendering

🔧 Printing Tips:

• The "SONY" and "E-Mount" text are simple extrusions and print correctly with a 0.4 mm nozzle
• Only enable normal supports on the build plate
• Enable **top surface ironing** for a cleaner finish on the letters and logo

✅ Compatibility:
Tested on several Sony lenses, no issues
Internal diameter: 47.5 mm
 

⚠️ If it doesn't fit, absolutely do not force it. Your lens is probably not compatible. Take care of your equipment

💡 Tip:
If you want to regain the slight characteristic curvature of the original caps, leave your cap for a few minutes in the sun or near a diffuse heat source
Then, gently press on the back to give it a slightly convex shape
This allows you to restore the dome effect without altering the **SONY** logo on the front
