I work outdoors a lot and was constantly losing my pens. So I designed this beautiful pen with a hole for a keyring. It's not only practical because I can attach it to myself with a carabiner, but it also looks pretty cool.

The total length with the refill extended is just 10cm.

You will also need a refill and a spring from another ballpoint pen. The spring might need to be shortened, depending on the refill.

All common refills with a length of 90mm and a maximum diameter of 6mm should fit. Two 1mm washers are printed in case the refill is a bit shorter.

I have personally tested the following refills:

  • Fisher Spacepen
  • Stabilo Ballpoint
  • Schneider Gelion
  • Schneider Eco 725

These refills need to be shortened:

  • Pilot G2
  • Pilot  Frixion

If the thread is too loose, simply stick a piece of tape on the thread and screw it in together.

I have also designed a smaller model of the pen for shorter refills. Just click on the image.
