First Responder Door Jamb
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
- Paracord or 550 Cord x 1: 10.5 inches in length
- 3/8" Heat Shrink Tubing x 1: 1" in length
Description
Inspired by the PLaperriere 9mm version. This is an excellent door jamb and when you are entering a building where the door locks but you want someone else behind you to enter with ease I suggest this door jamb!
I modified the hole for paracord to go in easier and adapted the infill/walls for a stronger jamb than the original. I also reduced the speed of the print significantly to help TPU print well. I have successfully printed 9 on a plate without stringing issues on the H2D. I have only printed in TPU-95HF but will try TPU-90 soon. You can add text on top if you like I would suggest utilizing PETG for better adherence for text.
To increase functionality I suggesting adding 10.5" of paracord. Be sure to burn the ends. Run it through the door jamb then add a 1" in length of 3/8" heat shrink tubbing. Then tie a knot and pull the heat shrink over the knot. It may be easier to use ½" heat shrink tubing but I like it as tight as possible over the knot.
