Description

Taking inspiration from CharlieWW and his Airsense 10 version, I have created my idea of a remote 3m p100 filter that is a huge upgrade over the garbage filter that is include with the Airsense 11. This is a must have for areas with high pollen or constant wild fires.

The filter portion of the system includes the ability to add weight keeping it from rolling around or tipping over accidentally. To do this, I glued and added 3 quarters and 3 nickels(so they wouldn't rattle around) to the bottom of the base in the provided space. Feel free to use whatever weight you feel necessary.

Then simply glue the cover in place and your base is complete.

Once this is done, you can glue the base to the filter housing and the complete filter housing is complete. Just attach the filter.

For the hose, I had some extra standard unheated CPAP hoses lying around that I was able to remove the end from.

Once you cut the remaining hose to your desired length, simply thread the end back onto the hose and you should have a snug fit.

For the Airsense 11 adapter, you simply remove the factory filter cover and install this one in its place.

Then connect the two hose ends and you're set!

Disclaimer! This is medical equipment and altering it could lead to shortened equipment lifespan. However, I have seen no airflow loss with using this filter setup. Do this at your own risk. I have found that after using this filter, I wake up without the effects of seasonal allergies during the night that plague me during the spring and summer.
