Soldering Fume Extractor with USB C powered
Required Components:
- PC Fan/12V DC Fan 120 x 120 x 25 mm
- PWM Controller with Off Switch
- 12V PD Decoy Trigger Module
- Activated Carbon Filter 10 mm thickness
- HEPA Filter sheet (Optional)
- M4 x 30 Bolts & Nuts (x4) (I used tapered head)
Installation Guide
- Connect PWM Controller to 12V PD Decoy Trigger Module (make sure to set the dip switch for 12V output)
- Plug in Fan Socket to PWM Controller
- Insert Nuts into Back Case
- Put the Fan into Front Case and ensure the Fan's Wire is in the cut out slot
- Install PWM Controller to Front Case (Top Left, Green in figure below)
Insert 12V PD Decoy Trigger Module to Front Case (Bottom Left, Blue in figure below)

- Put on the Back case and tighten bolts
- Install filter(s) into Filter case
- Screw in the Filter case onto Front case with Printed Screws (included in print profile)
- Install the knob on PWM Controller's encoder

4 Sep'25 - Added Revised Screw for Front Case Print Profile - as original screw profile seems to be a bit too tight and difficult to assembly, otherwise M3x12 shall be used as it fits perfectly; reported by stove.io
