Description

This is another simple RGB lamp based on RGB-ledstrip WS2812B, ESP32 and WLED, I had at shortened (49 diodes) LED-strip laying around, so I made the lamp height to fit this.

When printing the lid, I will suggest to do it on a smooth PEI plate, as it will create the nicest surface.

I made a second lamp-base and LED diffusor at 100mm height, then it's possible to cut it down to the desired height in the slicer, just remember that the lamp-base need to be 7,7 mm higher than the desired space for the LED-strip, and the diffusor need to be 4 mm higher.

The assembly is pretty straightforward, just solder the wires to the LED-strip and thread them through the holes at the bottom, after winding the LED-strip around the center, then you can either hot-glue the strip end to the center part, or drill holes for a stiff wire to be soldered to the strip and then hooked into the hole(s) like I did (picture 6)

There's a ton of good descriptions on the net on how to connect and load the ESP32, do I won't go into details with this here, only dump a couple of links:

Wiring: https://kno.wled.ge/basics/wiring-guides/

And then a shoutout and a link to R4_Serhii for making an inspiring lamp and a awesome parts and wiring description: https://makerworld.com/en/models/637087-smart-rgb-led-lamp-with-esp32-and-wled#profileId-1223074

In order to make this, the only parts you'll need is a ESP32 in some form (I used a Wemos ESP32 D1 mini), a WS2812B LED strip, a cable for powering the lamp (I used a USB charger cable where I cut the end off) and a bit of wire for connecting things.
