Description

This listing includes 3D printable components for building a Dualband Flowerpot Antenna (2m/70cm), as detailed in my blog post:
🔗 Dualband Flowerpot Antenna Build Guide

📌 Key Features:

  • Dualband operation: Optimized for both 144–146 MHz (2m) and 430–440 MHz (70cm) amateur radio bands.
  • Internal quarter-wave elements: Uses RG58 coaxial cable with precise λ/4 stripping and folding to form a matched antenna without exposed metal.
  • Choke section: RF choke is implemented to suppress common-mode currents and improve radiation pattern.
  • Encapsulated design: Entire radiating section is protected inside a PVC pipe, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • Omnidirectional vertical polarization: Great for base station use or fixed portable setups with consistent 360° coverage.
  • Tool-free assembly support: The included 3D-printed parts ensure easy alignment, strain relief for the cable, and optional mounting holes.
  • Weather protection: Top cap and sleeve parts reduce exposure to water ingress and UV damage.
  • Lightweight and portable: Perfect for field use, apartment balconies, or temporary setups.

This antenna is ideal for hams looking for a low-cost, easy-to-build, and reliable dualband antenna with great SWR and performance on both VHF and UHF.

SWR is around 1.28 at 145Mhz & 1.33 at 433Mhz

I recommend to print it with ASA or ABS to more resistant for UV, heat & outside usage conditions.
Printed with Ender 3 V3 SE + Sonic Pad +  Ceramic Hotend +  Microzey Gray ASA on 260C Nozzle | 105C Bed
