I initially sought a pre-existing model but found various shortcomings, including insufficient overall length, inefficient use of the build plate area, excessively small barbs insufficient for hair gripping, and even models requiring supports for printing…
Consequently, I designed this superior iteration, maximizing build plate utilization with a tool length exceeding 32cm, and meticulously crafted barbs ensuring efficient hair engagement and resistance to breakage.
I employed PETG-CF for printing, yielding exceptional results. Standard PETG is also suitable, although materials exhibiting low resilience and proneness to fracture are discouraged.
