📢 FlowAway™ TPU Sports Headband – Redirects Sweat Behind Ears
I’ve used commercial sweat-diversion headbands before, but noticed a critical flaw:
most of them are designed flat, which causes the sweat gutter to collapse when worn. This blocks the sweat flow, allowing it to drip into the eyes – defeating the purpose.
This model solves that problem.
Key Features:
Pre-curved sweat gutter:
Designed not as a flat channel, but as a pre-shaped curve that maintains its form even when worn. Sweat is guided away from your forehead and towards the sides without obstruction.
- Flexible rear pleats:
While TPU itself is flexible, I’ve added rear pleats (folds) to further enhance stretchability and wearing comfort without relying solely on the material’s elasticity. This helps the headband stay in place without applying excessive pressure.
- TPU-based one-piece design:
Fully 3D printed from TPU for durability, washability, and lightweight flexibility. The entire model is a single print, with no assembly required. - Hygienic and washable:
Easy to clean and designed to avoid sweat buildup inside the band itself. Material-saving design
Designed to be as thin as possible, without wasting material, while providing sufficient functionality.
This design combines real-world experience with 3D printing versatility to offer a functional improvement over traditional sweat-diverting headbands.

TPU TYPE
Although printing is possible with most types of TPU, I recommend using type 95A TPU for the durability and wearability of the product.
SIZE
The model is suitable for size M, and you can change the scale and print it according to your head size.
(Anything larger than this will be difficult to print on the A1-MINI.)
