Description

I love to play golf.  I designed a “fancy tee” a little bit back that allows me to set the height of the center of the ball really accurately to help me drive more consistently.  My next peeve is that when I hit - especially on the driving range - the tees either go flying or eventually snap.

 

Enter the “Hinged Fancy Tee.”  I've printed it out of several materials - I've posted it as printed in PLA, but others have worked for me (favorites include Bambu TPU and 3DFuel's PCTG.  This tee is a bit thicker to both make it tougher and to make it easier to add a hinge. The tee is designed to lean slightly backwards, and to fold forwards as you strike the ball.

 

As with any designs I'm playing with, I would love to see your prints, and to hear any ideas for how you think it can be improved.  

 

(update) I've just posted v7 of this design - I've been tweaking and optimizing the design to try to make it easier to assembly and more durable.  I
