Description

Bits for DIY Drybox:

The Connector/ PC4-M6 Substitute

  1. replace the standard PC4-M6 Pneumatic connector. The 6mm OD (outer diameter is exactly the same as on a normal PC4-M6), for replacing or use it on pre-drilled 6mm hole on the Drybox.
  2. It should fit tightly into the box with a strong "pop".
  3. The hole of the connector on the outside of the Drybox also matches the 4mm OD of the standard PTFE tube.
  4. It is slightly chamfered for easier insertion of the PTFE tube. If this is too hard to fit, it's probably due to “elephant foot” try adjusting that setting to “0.2” or an easier way is just to de-burr it slightly after print.
  5. The little collar ring is to hold it onto the box, so make sure that it goes pass this ring when pressing this part into the drybox.
  6. For ultimate airtight seal of the Drybox, print this in TPU material and slightly increase 0.5mm of the overall size.

Filament Retainer + Cap

  1. This little bit is a cap to cover up the hole of the connector when not in use / during storage.
  2. It also has a hole/space for filament insertion and it hold the filament tightly without it falling back into the drybox.
  3. Make sure filament is ready to be pulled out and ready for printing when need.
  4. This bit negates the need to open the Drybox to load the filament.

PTFE Tube Cover

  1. If to cover up the end of a PTFE tube coming out of the Drybox.
  2. There's also a hole that fits the filament & act as a holder for the filament so it can be pulled out when needed.
  3. This cover negates the need to open the Drybox to load the filament.
