Description
Hogwarts Castle Playset
There are now many printable Hogwarts castles. But none that are truly playable and interactive. So I thought I'd give it a try. Over time, it became one of my biggest projects. I hope you like it :)
Inside, you will find well-known places from the world of Harry Potter:
- The Great Hall, with long tables and benches
- Potions classroom - full of small bottles and cauldrons
- Gryffindor Common Room - with armchairs, chessboard, and fireplace
- many small details, such as the Gryphon Statue, stairs
The castle is printed with supports in Print in Place. After carefully removing the supports, the castle can be opened and closed. (be careful with the delicate spires!).
It is best to glue the castle onto the base into the designated recess (glue only on the middle part, otherwise it cannot be opened!). The bridge is pushed into the rock from above.
The interior furnishings can either be placed loosely or glued in permanently. I have permanently glued the pictures on the walls.
For print profile 11, Print by Object is set to reduce filament changes. This can be deactivated again depending on whether or how many different colors are selected.
Stringing cannot be avoided with the windows and the bridge. Simply burn off the threads briefly! with a lighter.
