Description

The final Docobot in the Produce Wars series, The Indigestible Pulp!

I struggled to decide which bot I was going to make as I felt like I had several good options for the last one, but ultimately decided to go with Pulp. As with all of my bots, I had a lot of fun making this one. I tried to give him a classic Hulk mop top haircut, but somehow I gave him the Guy Gardner instead, and I like it.

This model does require four 4mm x 2mm magnets. The back won't stay in place very well without them.

ASSEMBLY

I'm finding it very difficult to make videos, and I think I'm going to stick to photos. Assembly is fairly simple.

Start by taking an ankle and inserting it into a foot. Repeat for the other foot.

Next, take a shin and connect a leg to one end and a foot to the other. Repeat for the other leg and then set the legs to the side for a moment.

Next, take a shoulder, upper arm, forearm and hand, and connect them together as seen in the picture below. Repeat the steps for the other arm and set them aside for now.

The hair fits onto the head a certain way. Two pieces of hair should be visible in the front.

Insert magnets into the body and back, making sure that their orientation is correct. Now connect the body and back together using the back bone.

Now take the arms, legs and head, and attach them to the body as seen below.

The last thing to do is to flip his back up so it connects to his body.

TRANSFORMATION

Transformation is quick. Start by pulling the back off the body and folding one arm into the chest as seen below. The upper arm needs to be orientated that specific way inside the body. Repeat for the second arm. Now fold the head in so that you can't see the face.

Next, fold the legs up one at a time in the same orientation as the following picture.

Once you have the legs folded up, the last thing to do is fold the back up into the body.

This model brings the Produce Wars series to a close. This was a learning experience, and I had a lot of fun making these. I will be back with many more Docobots to come this year. Thank you to all who offered suggestions, support and enthusiasm for this project. 🙏
