Modular drawer organizer (grid-based)

Introduction

This is a grid-based drawer organizer system. The grid can be configured in 25 mm steps. Wall fit extensions are also available in 1 mm steps for the perfect fit in the drawer. It is a flexible system, you can easily adjust the grid later according to your needs. Please watch the YouTube-video to understand the system.

Part types

Walls

With Walls, you can divide your drawers. Walls can be connected with bolts and connectors and are available in the following sizes:

If you require longer walls or your printer-bed size is too small: Use the “Wall-wall in line”-connector to make two walls into one long one.

Connectors

The corner connector and bolts are essential. However, further variants are available so that the number of components can be reduced. Here is an overview of all connectors:

Wall-wall in line connector more stable alternative		5 mm	More stable alternative of the Wall-wall in line connector. Recommented, when the extended wall has no cross connection to other walls and wobble is not desired. This part blocks 3 slots of the wall where no other connection can be made.

Wall fit extensions

You can use this part-type to extend a wall to a specific length. The extensions are available in 1 mm steps from a length of 3 mm to 22 mm. Notice: If you want to add 1 or 2 mm, your walls must have one segment less, and you can use the 21 or 22 mm extension.

Planning tips

• Measure your drawer, start printing the outer frame (may use extensions).
• Notice: All connectors except the bolt add 5 mm to your wall length.
• All parts are included in the Bambu Studio file. You'll need to remove any unnecessary parts and clone some if necessary. Alternative: Configure your system from multiple STL files.

Printing tips

• Use brim for a better bed adhesion.
• I recommend a nozzle size of 0,4 mm or lower. (I printed with a 0,4 mm nozzle on my P1S).
• Ensure good print bed adhesion, especially for the connectors.

• You can scale the height of the parts (standard: 60 mm).
