Summary
Easily connects the SQ Flow-SFS 0.5 filtration pump model to common Intex and Bestway pool tubes, reusing the original nut and O-ring seal for a perfect seal.
(One sentence explaining everything: what it is for, what it is used for, and its main advantage)
Description
I designed this fitting to solve a common problem: how to connect the Ubbink / SQ Flow SFS 0.5 filtration pump (often sold in kits with ball filters) to the very common standard tubes for Intex or Bestway above-ground pools.
The Advantage of This Design:
Unlike an adapter that screws directly onto the pump (with threads that are difficult to replicate and prone to leaks), this design only replaces the original cylindrical insert.
This approach allows reuse of the robust clamping nut and, most importantly, the original O-ring seal of the pump, guaranteeing a watertight, secure, and reliable seal.
The piece has been designed to withstand the pressure generated by the pump and the filtration system.

Recommended Material:
PETG or ASA are ideal for this application due to their resistance to water, UV rays, and pool chemicals. PLA is not recommended.
Printing Orientation:
It is ESSENTIAL to print the piece "upside down", with the flat part of the male thread resting on the print bed (as seen in the slicer image). This orientation maximizes the mechanical strength of the flange that acts as a stop for the O-ring, preventing breakage due to water pressure.
