Description
This prints OK without support. I used PLA and added a second color text personalized to my cat.
I included a template. Once you line up the portal on your plastic tote (high up is better) use the template and a sharpie to mark where to cut. Draw a line around the OUTSIDE of the template. Cut the line with a Dremel or hot knife. I have tried them both and find the Dremel mostly melts the plastic anyway but is easier to control. If you go the hot iron melting plastic route, be sure to hold your breath for a couple of hours.
If your cuts are not close to the printed portal you may need to use glue to hold it in place. Hot glue will work but can melt PLA really quick. Best to use something gooey and clear like Nano Tape or B3000.
You want to have at least 3" of room under the portal for litter so get a tote that is pretty tall. I got mine at Walmart.
