Description

This speaker box is designed for a 4" full range and 4" passive radiator. You can use 2 full ranges if you prefer, or a midrange and tweeter. Everything should be printed in the “Strength” setting, or 4-5 walls minimum except the outer shell/grille, which doesn't need to be as rugged. The thicker the walls and denser the infill the better the sound. 8 walls should get you a solid box but will take over a full roll. If you plan to use this outdoors or keep it outside of a climate-controlled area I suggest PETG. Predrill all holes or the layers will likely disbond. Better to use machine screws and nuts than wood screws. The speakers can be sealed with silicone, and the lid can be sealed with weatherstripping for easier removal. The amp is not airtight. I used hot glue to seal as much of the aux and USB port as I could.

You'll need:

4" full range speaker

4" passive radiator

12v or 24v battery. I used a 6aH Talentcell battery pack and charger

5.5mm female threaded power jack

Screws - I used 3 M6 machine screws and nuts for the lid. Be careful to use as short a screw as you can on the back as a long screw could      make contact with the amp. For the speaker and passive radiator I used 8 M4 machine screws and nuts. I used glue and 4 ½" wood screws  to  hold the handle hinges to the lid.

a 19mm power button

a 1001U amplifier (I will post a blank lid for other options)

Hot glue to seal the back side of the ports on the amp

Power wire

Speaker wire

Connectors

Super glue for hinge pins

If this is popular I can post one without the holes so it can be scaled for different amps, buttons, ports and speakers.

I know the handle looks bad. I printed it with an .8mm nozzle with (apparently) bad orientation. I'll post new pics when I get the enclosure reprinted in purple, and the new handle made.
