Based on feedback and suggestions from the previous version, which reflected the issue of weak suction with ordinary fans, a more efficient method has been designed after multiple tests and optimizations
Currently, air purifiers are generally divided into three main categories: vertical, tower, and bucket types. The bucket-type purifier, with air intake from all sides and upward airflow, is undoubtedly the most advantageous in terms of cost, volume, and energy efficiency ratio. Moreover, all adopt an upward blowing design, allowing air to form a circulation for rapid exchange
Furthermore, after referencing finished cylindrical purifiers, I found that most use centrifugal fans. The reason is that although axial fans provide low pressure and high airflow, centrifugal fans are more reliable for high-pressure applications. Centrifugal fans are designed with a high-pressure head, providing greater suction even with high air resistance from the filter element. This 12cm centrifugal fan can achieve 140Pa of suction pressure, which is significantly several times higher than the previous 14cm fan version. The improvement is remarkable. Even with the inner cylinder filled with filter balls and the outer layer wrapped in melt-blown fabric, it can still firmly hold a tissue
Note: When installing the fan, hold it tightly against the casing and tighten the screws to prevent improper installation from causing the fan blades to rub against the casing
Connect the red wire (positive) to the short pin of the DC plug, and the black wire (negative) to the long pin of the DC plug
