Bill of Materials
Description
This is the third work of ‘Interactive Mechanical Box’, called ‘A touch of war’. It's a boxy Batman.
Right now, put on the headgear, and fight! (Quickly press the headgear to make the action cooler)
Brief description of the mechanical mechanism:
· The headgear drives a rack as motion input, and its motion distance is set to 10.5 mm.
· The rack drives the left and right gears to rotate 55°.
· The two gears drive the left and right wings to unfold respectively. The wing is a variant of a multi-link flapping wing mechanism.
Note:
·you need to buy Bambu BB007 spring or equivalent spring. (0.5*5*20mm)
·Please refer to the assembly instructions carefully for assembly.
·Different materials may result in different fit clearance. I used Bambu PLA Basic. If you use other types of materials, the fit clearance may be some tight or loose. (If the fit clearance is too tight, the spring may not be able to return to its original position; if it is too loose, the wings may not be able to expand sufficiently.)
2025.09.29 v2: Glowing Eyes Version
I've updated the Magnetic Control Switch Light version. Pressing the headgear activates eyes illumination with three light modes, much cooler. I also fine-tuned the hinge assembly clearance for more types of materials.
This time I used Bambu PLA Galaxy Purple. This material looks absolutely stunning. You need to buy Bambu Single LED Magnetic Control Switch Light White-KC001.
