Summary
A printable DIN 3 rail, ultra-optimized and way too overengineered.
Features:
- 45 degree overhang, which allows the print to be printed vertically to work with the anisotropic strengths in FDM prints.
- Honeycomb for increased strength with lower material usage.
- Reinforcement in the interior side of the rail, increasing stiffness of the thin walls.
I have no idea why I spent so much time on this when I could've just bought one, but I guess I wanted to see how far I could go with it.
