Filament Spool Drying Box Molecular Sieve + Color-Changing Silica Gel (with indicator)

Molecular sieves dry much better than color-changing silica gel, but you cannot visually tell when a molecular sieve is saturated.

Therefore, this design includes a small compartment for a small amount of color-changing silica gel, allowing you to monitor its color to determine when the molecular sieve is saturated.

The spool diameter is 54mm and height is 65mm. To avoid support structures, the spool has an internal isolating part which requires

a small amount of adhesive to secure it during assembly.

Friendly Tip (smooth the threads by turning them back and forth several times before gluing the isolation part).

Since spool sizes vary, use rolled-up paper to snugly fit the spool into the holder.

The 3MF file uses variable layer heights on several threads for smoother threads.

We recommend using transparent material for printing; at minimum, the color-changing silica gel compartment should be transparent for better visibility.

(Although color changes are still visible with other materials).
