Based off my popular Key Hanger V2 - Impossible Passthrough

Whats new in this version?

While not a ‘true’ V3, a number of improvements have been made to the design & function:

New Mario-style design While this version loses the ‘impossible passthrough’ feature of V2, every component is Mario themed - from the hanger to the key fobs themselves
The key fobs have been redesigned from scratch to be shorter & thinner - making them much more pocketable The keyring attachment has been strengthened and widened to support more sizes of key rings
Hidden screw holes make the design more seamless Print files also include a no hole version for use with mounting tape
Options available for single-color and multi-color key fobs The plain version is simple and easy to print, while the bullet bill version adds even more Mario flair (at the cost of time and filament)

The unofficial ‘V3’ in my key hanger series

In my V1 & V2 my goal was to turn the ‘impossible passthrough’ trend into something functional. While this version abandons the ‘illusion’ aspect of these designs, it retains the spiral features and print-in-place spinning keychain. A number of improvements have been made to both the wall hanger and the key fob, making this a perfect upgrade if you're looking for some video game flair. 

Compatible with all Bambu printers: X1 series, P1 Series, A1, and A1 Mini

Instructions

• In the 3mf file there is a version of the holder with and without screw holes.
• The screw hole version is designed to fit #2 wood screws (should fit most wall anchors as well), and the other version can use double-sided mounting tape.
• Simply print one holder, and three keychains
• There are two plates for keychains: single color, or multicolor bullet bills
  • Unfortunately the bullet bill version requires alot of filament changes, but in my opinion it's worth it
• The holders require supports, i recommend using a ‘Support/raft interface’ for the cleanest results

Tips

• If you encounter stringing, you may want to use a blow torch or heat gun to quickly remove

• Like most pasthrough objects, any friction will loosen over time

   

What if I already printed V1 or V2?

Unfortunately those parts are not compatible as this was completely redesigned & tolerances and size have changed.

• Slow speeds
• Reduce infill retraction - no
