Get back to building and print exactly what you need with this Ultimate Interlocking Brick Generator! This powerful OpenSCAD model lets you create any standard brick or plate you can imagine, but with a special twist: you can add your own custom text. Perfect for making personalized gifts for kids, unique party favors, custom keychains, or even labeling your own large-scale creations

🛠️ What can you customize?

This model is a creative powerhouse, putting dozens of options at your fingertips right in the MakerWorld customizer!

• Brick Shape: Define the exact nubs_cnt_x (width) and nubs_cnt_y (length) of your brick. You can also control the brick_height to create thin plates or classic tall bricks.
• Personalized Text: This is where the magic happens! Add any text_on_front, choose from hundreds of fonts, and select a font_style like Bold or Italic.
• Advanced Text Effects: Choose to Emboss (raise), Deboss (deeply engrave), or Light Engrave your text. You have full control over the text_depth and even the text_thickness (boldness).
• Full Text Control: Go even further by adjusting letter spacing, horizontal and vertical alignment, and even rotate the text for a cool angled look. Use the offset sliders to fine-tune the position perfectly.
• Structural Integrity: Print rock-solid bricks by enabling strong_brick mode. You can also fine-tune the clutch_power_adjustment and nubs_diameter_mod for that perfect, satisfying click with other bricks.
• Keyring: Add a keyring_diameter to easily turn your custom brick into a personalized keychain!

🖨️ Print Settings

For the best compatibility, dimensional accuracy is key. All filaments should do the job, I have already tried PLA and PETG. But you can also print it in ABS - the material that is used for the real bricks. This model needs no supports. For a perfect fit, you might want to print a small test brick first and adjust the clutch_power_adjustment and nubs_diameter_mod values slightly for your specific printer and filament.

💡 Why did I make this model?

I wanted to give personalized gifts to some kids, and I thought, "What's better than a brick with their name on it?" I found an existing generator but decided to improve it with way more text options to get the look just right.
