Description

This is a tool mount for the Milwaukee M18 Multi-tool or grinder or possibly any other tool that has a 65deg Battery mount. This works for ¼" pegboard and wall mount.

To use the mount on pegboard you will need plastic wall anchors. Not all wall anchors work. I've tried 3 different ones myself and I have shown the ones that work. SEE NOTE ON YELLOW ONES The Hillman (or Fischer) DuoPower ¼" work best. You will need to cut off the 4 wings at the top (flange side) to get them to fit. They fit very tight and they hold the best in pegboard.

Insert the anchor into the mount first as shown in the pictures. DO NOT use the screws that come with the anchors. They are too long and will twist the anchor and make it near impossible to remove. (this is how they work in wallboard) I use a 1in #8 Pan Head screw.

Really any wall anchor that fits the hole in the mount tightly will work.

NOTE: The yellow ones are tricky to find the right size that will work. I found some that were perfect and some too loose and they look exactly the same.  Ones listed as 6mm can be to loose.

Here are the type I've tried:

Hillman (Fischer) DuoPower

Wurth

Any anchor that fits the hole in the mount TIGHTLY should work.

For wall mount, use a pan head screw. Flat head will split the plastic.

To mount the grinder, you may need to swing the guard around.
