Description

Tired of trying to redo your walls and spilling hard-to-clean paint everywhere?  The Paint Buddy solves this problem with a simple snap-on mouth that makes it easy to pour paint from its can into a tray for a roller or any other receptacle.

****If you had trouble printing, try the new horizontal orientation****

Features:

  • Easy to print + low cost:  34 grams, 1.5 hour print time
  • Reusable
  • Minimal drip lip
  • Easy to clean: Designed with minimal ridges and crevices compared to standard commercial equivalents (see picture), making it easy to wash away stubborn paint
  • Simple snap-on construction:  Creates tight seal to prevent paint from leaking during pouring
  • Available with holes for hanging

After using the paint spout available at Lowes' to pour paint while redoing a room, I quickly grew tired of spending 20 minutes cleaning away dried acrylic from the overengineered lid, so this 3D printed version strips away unnecessary surface area and adds a better mouth that doesn't allow paint to drip so easily.

RECOMMENDED:

PLA, tree supports, standard strength/wall settings
