Description

Garden hose quick coupling of Gardena (Hozlock) variant, male part. ½" BSP thread, male and female. Print in place with seal of TPU for AMS.

To water proof dip in Dichtol AM Hydro (or other sealing lacquer). I strongly recommend Dichtol. Definitly the easiest and best way to seal FDM prints that I have tried.

This worked for me and made fully watertight couplings when printed in place. Tested with normal water pressure. I used a H2D printer. TPU for AMS is however quite hard to make seals from, making tolerances small. Therefor hard to guarantee it will work under different printing conditions (another printer, poor tuning, poorly dried filaments etc). If it leaks or if it is hard to fit you can try adjusting the XY contour compensation setting.

Print with PETG and TPU for AMS. Don't use high temperature filaments as the chamber temperature will soften the TPU and clog the extruder even when when using separate nozzles on the H2D.

AMS or dual extruders are required for this print.
