Description

Universal phone mount for the P1S or P1P!

If you have an old unused phone or want to acquire a cheap used phone, this mount offers a way to add color screen controls to your P1P or P1S and assist in making timelapse videos.

  • Fully 3D printed! Requires no hardware, nuts, bolts or screws! (Glue is optional but recommended for one step)
  • Allows a charging cable to be cleanly routed into the printer so the unused USB port behind the printer's original display can be used for charging your phone
  • It can be used as a permanent “leave an old phone attached" mount or a “charge my phone while making a timelapse” mount
  • Control your P1S or P1P and AMS with a color touchscreen through the Bambu Handy app instead of the original greyscale screen
  •  Fits phones / phones w/cases up to 78.5mm wide
  • Mounts to printer using the accessory hole on the right of the P1S/P1P and should not interfere with most AMS risers

Assembly: 🛠️

If installing a charging cable, I recommend routing it through the top right hole on the P1S / P1P before installing the base mount of the phone holder.  Plugging the cable into the USB port inside the printer was the hardest step.  The port is located directly behind the included screen inside the print chamber.  Pic below for reference.

Printing Notes:📜

Some parts have manual brims due to bed adhesions issues even with Bambu labs filament on a freshly washed textured PEI plate.

The part that attaches to the hole over on the right of the P1S/P1P printer is the only item that requires supports and it's a very minimal amount.

There's a modifier to increase the ball mount to screws part to 99% infill as this broke on me during testing / rotating the mount when it was too tight.

Only one print plate and it's small enough you can print it on an A1 mini if you have a marathon print running on your P1S/P1P.
