Description

This is a set of custom gauges that can be using for the sport of body boarding (boogie boarding).

I invented these so you can detail the rail ratio of your board/s and determine if your rails are:

  • 50 / 50
  • 55 / 45
  • 60 / 40

as these are the common ratios in boards.

They also have a second function and that is to measure the thickness of your board - 50 / 52 / 54 / 56 / 58 / 60mm thick.

How to use:

Step 1 - determine the thickness of your board with the closest gauge

Step 2 - make sure the place the gauge with the word deck to the top of the board

Step 3 - gently slide the gauge on and look down the side of your board and the gauge to see where the edge of your rail meets a indicator.

and now you know the thickness of your board and the ratio of your rails.

How to print:

  • there are 3 x 3mf files each with 2 different gauges.
  • file is setup for a textured plate but alter if you do not wish to use.
  • you may need to alter the colours of your bracket and letters so select the OBJECTS tab (shown in a attached image).
  • then click on the bracket and letters and change the roll number to your preferred colour

Note: the letters are faced down so you will need to rotate your screen view so you can see from underneath.

Enjoy
