Description
This is a power strip organizer box designed to accommodate the Xiaomi 6-port power strip with 3 USB interfaces, perfectly fitting the official Xiaomi 6-port strip with 3 USB interfaces. If your power strip is not Xiaomi brand, it can still be compatible as long as its dimensions are supported. Should your existing power strip be slightly larger, you can scale this model proportionally for use.
The dimensions of this model are as follows:
The internal length is 19.6 cm, external length 20 cm, internal width 10.6 cm, external width 11 cm, and height 13 cm. The power cord opening for the power strip measures 4 cm, which is ample for various common plugs, including larger Hong Kong plugs. Compatibility with some special or uniquely shaped plugs has not been tested and cannot be guaranteed. There are six side openings corresponding to the six power outlets. Considering that some device power cords protrude significantly after being plugged in, the side openings are sized at 5 cm high and 3.5 cm wide, sufficient for various daily electrical appliance power supplies. Some charger ports face upwards, causing them to stand considerably taller once plugged in. To address this, the top section features openings with different hole diameters, also facilitating the exit of charging cables.
This model is designed as a rectangular cuboid. Only the six small platforms on the top, which support the cover, require support. The print profile defaults to enabling support. If you wish to save material and have no particular aesthetic requirements for these small platforms, you may disable support; however, disabling it only saves approximately 20 grams of filament and may lead to print failure. Therefore, it is strongly advised not to disable support.
The model's default configuration uses 15% infill and 2 walls, and its strength has been thoroughly tested without issue. Even when placing items like mobile phones and chargers on top of the power strip box, the strength remains ample. If you need to place heavier objects on the cover, you can modify the infill percentage or increase the number of walls.
