Description
This is a print-in-place planetary gear fidget spinner with a unique dual-ring design. Unlike standard spinners, both the inner and outer rings spin independently, allowing for interesting effects like spinning the whole fidget and then stopping only the inner layer while the outer layer continues to spin.
The outermost ring features a textured knurled pattern, providing a better grip and a more tactile feel while spinning.
With a good spin, it can rotate for 15–20 seconds. For improved performance, applying a small amount of lubricant to the gears can help reduce friction and extend spin time.

- Flush volume: 0.65 (tested with no visible color bleeding — adjust as needed for your setup).
🖨️ Recommended Print Settings:
- Layer Height: 0.20 mm
- Infill: 10% gyroid
- Walls: 2
- Filament: Optimized for PLA
Note: To achieve a print in place design, the gear tolerances are very fine, so it is strongly recommended not to alter the provided print profile settings (unless you know what you are doing). Changing certain parameters (like horizontal expansion or flow settings) may cause the slicer to accidentally fuse the gears together.
