This 3D model is a reflector panel (dent finder), designed to help visualize small dents and surface imperfections on car body panels. I created it to assist me during car inspections – when looking for damage such as hail dents, parking impacts, or other irregularities on painted metal surfaces. The pattern on the panel reflects onto the car's glossy paint, and any distortion in the lines reveals the presence of a dent or deformation.

The design features a repeating sequence of thin lines followed by slightly thicker line, inspired by real-world PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) boards. The shape is circular with a diameter of 250 mm, a uniform thickness, and two finger holes on each side for easy handling. After testing the model and confirming that it works reliably, I decided to share it for free, hoping it will be useful to others who inspect or work on vehicles.
