Many users encountered difficulties with the extensive time and considerable filament waste incurred during multi-color printing of this miniature shoe. Consequently, a substantial amount of time was dedicated to disassembling this model into its individual components

Community creations showcase

Important Note:

Under no circumstances should the model's print settings be altered, as such modifications may lead to print failures and line breaks in smaller components, particularly with the AJ logo and shoelace buckles. It is highly recommended to use PLA for printing these delicate parts

The removal of supports from these diminutive components demands patience, precision, and a degree of manual skill. Assembly will necessitate the use of adhesive (If you deem the segmented printing and assembly process overly intricate, it is recommended to opt for multi-color printing instead)

Instructions

The sole has been engineered with volumetric tolerances to meticulously minimize any visible seams during assembly

The shoelaces exhibit a degree of pliability, enabling the upper section to be fitted initially, followed by gently pressing the lower section into its designated position

The lateral shoelace buckle is designed for Print in Place with red and black filaments, requiring a single color change during the print. Should you wish to alter the colors, it is recommended to change the filament. After securing the shoelaces, position these components and firmly press them into their respective slots

Following numerous iterations, the logo can now be seamlessly embedded into its designated recess, subtly protruding from the surface. This meticulous design ensures the secure and precise rendering of its intricate form during printing. Should you intend to enlarge the shoe model for printing, it is advisable to slightly reduce the logo's height

The completed model allows for customization with your preferred color palette

It is hoped that this solution alleviates the challenges often encountered with multi-color printing
