Split Bolt For AMS Lite Cord Dry Box

I was making the upside-down AMS holder, and I was breaking the split nut provided by 3D Part Factory. I made this one with 3 wall thickness. Very subtle change but it made all the difference. I also eliminated all the other clutter in the file and it is JUST the split nut specifically leaving the split nut for a 4.5 mm cord. The AMS Lite uses a 4.4mm cord. It fits VERY well. 

I would recommend using a thin bead of silicone around the nut if you are following the instructions by 3D Part Factory, making sure it stays air-tight. But honestly, it is a good fit and most likely not needed. 
 

To make the hole, I would cut it slightly larger than the threads. which measure around 19mm or .75" then insert the cable, put the bolt through the hole, and screw on the nut.
