Water bottle cage adapter for seatpost

Hello,

Attached here is a holder/adapter to attach a bottle cage to the seat post

The model is designed to accommodate a completely standard bottle cage

The model presented here is made for a standard 27.2mm circular seat post (the model is adaptable if you contact me)

I recommend printing it in PETG and not PLA

Regarding assembly, it's quite simple: after removing the seat tube, slide on the adapter

Then reassemble the seat tube into the frame Here are two options:

• 1st option: the ring has a constant diameter, in which case you can slide the adapter in and tighten everything
• 2nd option: the ring does not have a constant diameter In this case, a screw + adjustment bolt must be positioned in the center of the part This screw allows you to position the adapter where desired and prevent it from rotating around the axis

Each screw is held by an M5 nut that fits into the designated slot

UPDATE: in case number 2, it seems that the screw might loosen with vibrations To avoid this, add a bit of Blu Tack, plastic, or tape around the nut The use of PETG is also more effective, and nylon-stop nuts can also improve durability

For complete assembly, you need

• 3 M5 16mm screws (2 of these 3 screws are supplied with a bottle cage
• 3 classic M5 nuts (8mm width and 3-4mm width)
