Description
Design Concept
The UFO Light on the Moon model brings a whimsical touch to any space. Inspired by classical UFO imagery, it captures a fun interaction between science fiction and design with a glowing light that symbolizes the hovering spaceship over a textual moon base.
Usage
Ideal as a decorative piece or nightlight, it can be used in bedrooms, living spaces, or themed settings. The luminescent design ensures it stands out, providing ambient light with an artistic twist.
Printing Suggestions
Printed with PLA or a similar filament in varying shades. Consider using translucent filament for the lamp part to maximize light diffusion. A layer height of 0.2mm or finer can enhance the surface detailing. I have used 0.16 on the UFO, and 0.2mm for the rest.
Assembly Instructions
The model is best printed in separate parts for precision, particularly the base, the lamp, and the decorative details. I have used a simple LED battery puck for the light.
The moon base on the bottom, put then the LED puck light on the top of the moon, put the light beam over the puck and the UFO on the top.
