Description

This is a competition pellet box for 4.5mm match diabolo pellets.

Just push down the latches and you can shake the pellets into the holes.

After closing and opening the box again you can easily take out the single pellets.

Boost Me (for free)

it would be nice to get a boost from you!

Use a SMOOTH print plate!

What you need:

  • ~10x10mm soft foam rubber with thickness of 8mm or 5mm (you can use the silhouette plate for cutting)
  • One (place it on the middle) or two (place them near the latches) 9,5 x 16 x 0,5mm springs (included in the most compression spring assortment sets on eBay or Aliexpress)

Print the first plate for a complete kit. (again: use a SMOOTH plate!)

I also included a (optional) printable spring version, but the tension wears out after some time.

Also there is the classical pellet mesh structure (with round pellet holes) but because of the seams it won´t work as good as the “tear drop” design.

update 09.11.2025 (V1.2):

  • Adjusted the lid tolerances for a better fit (clearance).
  • Modified the latch height for improved engagement.
  • Added two additional hold-downs to reduce stress on the latches when closed.
  • Added millimeter specifications for hole diameters on the underside.
  • Improved the cutting template to support angled cuts with a knife.
  • merged the Hole Diameter Test for Precise Fit plates into the Basic-Print-File

Important: These parts are no longer compatible with V1.1 / V1.0!

update 03.11.2025 (V1.1):

  • Removed the printed spring lifting unit version (not durable for long-term use).
  • Changed the default pellet mesh to the 4.75 mm version (better fit). For optimal adjustment, use the "Hole Diameter Test for Precise Fit".
  • Lifting unit + lid: Replaced the spring-retaining pins with holes in the lifting unit and conical guides in the lid to hold the spring in place.

update 26.10.2025:

  • New Print Profile Added: “Hole Diameter Test for Precise Fit”
  • This profile includes a specially designed test object featuring a range of hole diameters. It's ideal for determining the optimal fit for your specific pellet or component. First, print the test plate containing all the different hole diameters. Then take your pellet and check which diameter provides the best fit. The pellet should sink into the hole, but not fall through. Once identified, you can print your final layout using the optimal hole diameter.

update 15.08.2025:

  • Attached “end stops” to the lifting unit and small adjustment to the latches. Now the pellets wobble less and do not sink in as deeply.
  • fixed height of lower box endstops for pellet mesh insert (was 0.25mm off)

update 12.08.2025:

  • Added a seperate box for 5mm foam. So you can print the box to use 5mm or 8mm foam.
