Description
This 3D-printed knob is creatively designed in the shape of a miniature spool or wire reel. The body features a cylindrical core around which a filament-like structure is wound, giving it a realistic and industrial appearance. The two circular flanges on either side are perforated with decorative holes, mimicking the design of full-scale cable reels.
This knob was printed in two distinct colors, with the central part in blue to resemble wrapped filament and the flanges in white or grey to enhance contrast and realism. It is mounted directly onto a wooden surface, functioning as a drawer or cabinet handle.
The design merges utility with aesthetics, offering a fun and functional accessory perfect for makerspaces, workshops, or anyone passionate about 3D printing or electronics.
At layer height 167, there is a pause for inserting an M4 hex nut.
