DAISO Gel Damper

It was popular to place vibration-damping gel dampers under 3D printers, but since the highly-rated ones were sold out, I challenged myself to see if I could make them cheaply.

For each gel damper, the parts are

・Gel damper case TPU

・Gel damper case PETG

・Vibration-damping rubber (40mm×40mm×5mm)

only these three.

To assemble, simply stack four vibration-damping rubber pieces neatly, insert them into the 3D printed TPU case, and then insert the PETG part.

Then, fit the recess of the PETG part onto the feet of a Bambu P1S or similar printer, and installation is complete.

Even including material costs, four of them only cost about 500 yen, so it's a good deal.

If you go to the store, you can find it in the disaster preparedness section.

Be careful when buying, as there are different sizes.

While it may not completely eliminate vibrations, it seems to have an effect on vibration absorption, if not damping.
