Description

XT60 adapter for Metabo battery.

Hardware needed:

1x 2x5mm countersink screw for fixing lid

2x M3x12 bolts for fixing bracket for XT60

Copper or brass strips. I used 0.8mm x 5mm strips.

Assembly:

-Press XT60 plug in. It should go in snug, add some CA glue under the plug if needed.

-Cut and bend copper strips so that they reach to soldering point of plug.

-Glue strips in place with epoxy or CA glue

-Solder strips to XT60 plug

-Tighten the bracket over XT60 plug

WARNING! These batteries are very powerful. If possible add a fuse. If shorted, risk of fire or explosion. Be careful!

Do not drain battery completely, it may get damaged and is not charging anymore. I provide only model for 3D printing and are not responsible for any damage.
